SESSION 4

Dr. Bernadette Beavers-Forrest

Bernadette Beavers-Forrest is a professor, educator, and creator whose work bridges faith, leadership, and innovation. Holding a Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Instructional Technology from the University of Alabama, Dr. Beavers-Forrest designs learning experiences that cultivate reflection, growth, and meaningful impact.

As a mentor, academic leader, and mother of three successful adults, she knows firsthand the sacred work of raising children while navigating professional demands, personal growth, and the call to show up fully in every season of life. Her journey through motherhood has been one of faith, intentionality, and grace — learning to release perfection and embrace the beauty found in the everyday moments of raising whole, thriving people.

In Raising in Grace: Reclaiming the Beauty of Motherhood, Dr. Beavers-Forrest invites women to reconnect with the deeper purpose and joy woven into their role as mothers. Drawing from scholarship, lived experience, and faith, she offers a perspective that honors the challenges of motherhood while calling women to see it as one of life’s most profound acts of leadership and love.
