IT IS ENOUGH
What does it mean to truly fall into the hands of God rather than the hands of our enemies? This message takes us deep into the heart of that question through the story of David in 1 Chronicles 21, where a man who had faced giants, slain thousands, and led armies found himself undone by his own pride.
When God offered David a choice of consequences, David chose to trust in God's mercy rather than take his chances with human opposition. That choice reveals something profound about where our confidence should rest. We are reminded that God knows who we are even before we become who we will be, and that the enemy's goal is never merely to wound us but to destroy what God has built.
The message draws a sharp and convicting line between being glad that we have access to God and being genuinely grateful for everything God has done. Gladness without gratitude produces a faith that only shows up in crisis, a faith that prays when the lights are off but forgets God when the check clears. We are challenged to examine whether our relationship with God is one of covenant or convenience, and to recognize that the sword of God's Word, hidden in our hearts, is our most powerful weapon, even when our enemy thinks we are unarmed.
